Why upload everything?

The bot staff answer from your own words. The more of you they have, the less they guess and the more they sound like you.
The Story Time Machine can only find stories you have told out loud in your videos, and GIF Station can only cut loops from them.
Your Personality Chart unlocks at 1 GB uploaded and 500 learned passages.
Your topic map, content gaps and slang are read from what you upload, so a small upload gives a thin read.
Bird Song and the Reaction Engine take your side of a subject from what you have already said about it.

Old posts count too. Your first uploads are where most of your stories and opinions live.

Exports usually arrive as several large zip files. Add them all — they upload one at a time.

Uploads resume if your connection drops. If it stalls, press Start upload again — it picks up where it left off instead of starting over, and finished files are skipped. Reopen this page later and the same button continues the import.

One catch worth knowing: an upload left unfinished for more than 24 hours has to start that file over. Try to get through it within a day.

Only upload what you're comfortable having AiMe read. Platform exports often include private messages — delete those from the archive first if you'd rather keep them out.

Your name or handle on that platform (optional)

Platform exports include other people's comments and messages. Your handle is how AiMe keeps your words and leaves theirs out. Separate several with commas.
